CCA and CCD have a wide variety of Degree and Certificate programs. If you are interested in a program not listed as a SWFI Program Offering, you can still take courses, however, you would not be a participant in the program.
The grant runs for 4 years (Beginning July 2016, ending June 2020).
Yes, upon acceptance to the program, a test will be administered that will help determine your math and English proficiency. Depending on your scores, you may be required to participate in a bridge program designed to bring your proficiency to the required college level.
Once you are accepted into the program, you will meet with a Childcare Navigator who will assist you with the process to secure CCCAP funding and a quality childcare provider. The grant will cover childcare costs from the time you are enrolled in the program until your CCCAP funding is approved.
Most of the courses are classroom taught. There may be just a few that can be taken online.
Absolutely! You can register online for CCA or for CCD.
